Figure 1. Schematic of celitement extraction technology
Calcium silicate hydrates (CSH) are the "retainer" part of many cement-based construction materials and contain crystalline water.
Figure 2. Celitement extraction method and strengthening process
The following types of minerals are predominant in the composition of celitement.
It includes:
The Portland cement extraction process is an energy-consuming Qatar Mobile Number List process that takes place at a temperature of 1400-1500°C, while the celitement synthesis is carried out in an autoclave at 160-200°C at a pressure of 0.9-1.6 MPa in a water vapor environment.
When slaked lime is dissolved in water, it interacts with water to create an exothermic effect, and the temperature of the system itself rises to 100-130, which leads to a high concentration of lime in the liquid phase of the sand-lime product, resulting in the formation of highly basic calcium hydrate silicate.
Highly basic calcium hydrate silicates are generally defined as having a ratio of calcium oxide molecular weight to silicon oxide molecular weight of 1.0 to 2.4. As the time of autoclaving increases, the formation of tobermorite-mineral increases. It has been determined that xenoliths can be formed when exposed to high pressure and temperature for many hours. Hydrosilicates - or - hydrates - are usually aggregated forming prismatic plates. - 500 and 550 t endoeffects are observed by DTA of hydrate. But by DTA, tobermorite has an endo effect (heat absorption) at 160, 865 at 1.25 base, and 900 at 1.33 base.
The main feature of Celitement is that samples containing lime and silicon are processed in an autoclave to produce 2 important properties.
It includes:
1. Low energy consumption and emissions during production
2. Changes in structure and properties
Reaction of cement with water
Figure 3. A- Ettringite mineral picture, B- alpha-C 2 SH phase
The crystallization of calcium silicate hydrate (3CaO∙2SiO 2 ∙H 2 O) in the resulting product is more crystallization than Portland cement. It can be seen from this that Celitement has higher compressive strength than Portland cement and its compressive strength reached 80 MPa.
Figure 4. Microscopic images of Celitement paste (A-after 10 minutes of hydration, B- after 8 hours, C- after 24 hours and D- after 7 days)
There is a significant difference in mineral composition between celite and portland cement. Portland cement consists of clinker minerals and anhydrous calcium sulfate, while celitement consists of a new type of hydraulic calcium hydrate silicate.
Scientists at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology first carried out experimental research on the extraction of celite at the laboratory level, and after more than a year of very successful experiments, semi-production trials have begun. The next step was that the institute, in cooperation with the "Schwenk" group, first carried out an experiment to produce 100 kg of celite per day in 2011. The institute has patented the technology and put it into practical use. At present, it has established 3 small factories for the production of 50,000 tons of cement per year.

Figure 5. Celitement plant and autoclave
Binders based on calcium hydrosilicates contain chemically bound water, so water is required for their production. This type of production is easy to carry out in an autoclave environment, but it is not enough to produce a hydraulic retainer. In other words, in the second stage, it is necessary to extract the retaining material. Of course, raw materials CaO and SiO 2must be contained.
